- Account data: username and password (stored in encrypted form) when you create an INSIDER account.
- Professional data: your role in the diamond and jewelry industry, your AI experience level, and your stated interests and goals. From the answers you give, we also record an internal classification of your AI experience, which we use to decide what reaches you. This classification is never shown to you or to anyone else, and it has no effect on your access, your rights, or any price.
- Transaction data: details of products or paid memberships you purchase. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
- Content you provide: questions, messages, and any text you enter into INSIDER forms or tools.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics.
- Communications data: any messages or content you send to us, including via WhatsApp where you choose to join our community group.
- Consent record: when you tick the consent box on a form, we record the exact wording you agreed to and the date and time you agreed to it. We keep this as proof of your consent and so that we can tell you what you agreed to if you ask.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as data revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or health data). Please do not submit such data to us.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
In line with Article 4 of the PDPL, we process your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Your consent, which you provide when you submit our forms or join our community;
- Performance of a contract or service you have requested;
- Compliance with a legal obligation;
- Our legitimate interests, where these are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
You may withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 9).

6. Disclosure of Personal Data
We may share your personal data with:

- Competent authorities, where required by UAE law or legal process.
We do not sell your personal data.
INSIDER tools help you create prompts. INSIDER does not send your prompts or content to any AI provider. If you choose to use a prompt in a third-party AI tool (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini), you do so directly, and that provider’s own privacy policy applies to what you share with it.
7. Cross-Border Transfers of Data
Some of our service providers may be located outside the UAE. Where we transfer your personal data abroad, we do so in accordance with Articles 22 and 23 of the PDPL, ensuring that the receiving country provides an adequate level of protection or, where it does not, that appropriate safeguards (such as contractual clauses) or a valid exception (such as your explicit consent) are in place.
8. Data Retention
We keep account and community data for as long as your account is active and for up to 12 months after you close it or ask us to delete it. Transaction records are kept for the period required by UAE commercial and tax law. Analytics data is kept in line with Google Analytics retention settings. When no longer needed, your data is securely deleted or anonymized.
9. Your Rights
Under the PDPL, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data and request information about how it is processed;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Request deletion of your personal data;
- Restrict or stop processing in certain circumstances;
