Rachel Sahar is a Dubai-based diamond industry professional, entrepreneur and founder with roots in the global diamond and jewelry industry dating back to 1999.
Background
A certified gemologist and rare diamond specialist, she is the Founder of R. Sahar Diamonds and works across the global diamond supply chain.
Today, Rachel serves as a Board Member of the Dubai Diamond Exchange, a member of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses and a founding Board Member of Young Diamantaires, actively contributing to initiatives shaping the future of the global diamond and jewelry industry.
What many people don’t know is that alongside her industry background, Rachel also built an early foundation in technology. In 2000, she completed Webmaster studies during the formative years of the internet, gaining hands-on experience in code, programming languages, systems and digital infrastructure, long before AI, no-code platforms and modern automation tools became mainstream.
Over the years, she combined this foundation with strategic consulting, business development and international projects, developing a unique ability to connect ideas, identify opportunities, understand systems and translate complexity into clarity.
This rare combination of industry expertise, technology foundations and strategic thinking ultimately led to the creation of INSIDER.
She founded INSIDER with a clear vision: to help the Diamond & Jewelry Industry understand what actually matters in AI.
